Indian Atheists Meetups in New Delhi and Chennai this January. The last few months of 2010 were exciting as we held successful meets in Bangalore, Pune and Mumbai. It is now time to take the movement to other cities.

Public holiday for Makaravilakku ?...

Sri V.S. Achuthanadan, Chief Minister of Kerala, has said  that Govt. of Kerala will decide upon declaring public holiday for Makaravilakku. (See Mathrubhumi daily dated, 31.12.10)

As this is an anti-secular move and part of religious appeasement policy of the government, Kerala Yukthivadisanghom Kozhikode Dist Committee has decided to conduct a protest march on 5.01.11, wednesday at 5.30 pm. starting from Muthalakkulam Maidanam, Kozhikode.

KYS request everybody to join the march.
